This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Fred Wilby who was born in United Kingdom on January 30, 1923 and passed away on April 11, 2001 at the age of 78. We will remember him forever

Softly from the morning shadows came God's gentle call. With goodbyes left unspoken you quietly left us all
Miss you Dad.

I wrote your name in the sand
But the waves washed it away
I wrote your name in the sky
But the wind blew it away
I wrote your name in my heart
And forever it will stay.

I have not turned my back on you, so there is no need to cry. I'm watching you from heaven, just beyond the morning sky. I've seen you almost fall apart, when you could barely stand. I asked the Lord to comfort you, and watched him take your hand. He told me you are in more pain, than I could ever be. He wiped his eyes and swallowed hard, then gave your hand to me. Although you may not feel my touch, or see me by your side. I've whispered that I love you, while I wiped each tear you cried. So please try not to ache for me, we'll meet again one day, beyond the dark and stormy sky, a Rainbow lights the way.

We are lighting up this candle, It has a special glow. It reminds us you are with us every where we go. We love you Dad Good night God Bless Love Chris & Mo.

Little by little As we grieve for a lost loved one We begin to remember Not that they died But that they lived.

In the rising sun and it's going down, we will remember him
In the blowing of the wind and in the chill of winter, we will remember him
In the opening of buds and in the warmth of summer, we will remember him
In the rustle of leaves and in the beauty of autumn, we will remember him
In the beginning of the year and in it's end, we will remember him

We thought of you with love today But that is nothing new We thought about you yesterday And days before that too We think of you in silence We often speak your name Now all we have are memories And your picture in a frame Your memory is our keepsake With which we'll never part God has you in his keeping We have you in our hearts
God bless Dad x x
